(left) MA90, 90W, Calverton, Notts, May 2006 (Claire Pendrous). This lamp has been widely used on main roads since the 1980s (along with the MA60) and is recognisable for its shoe-shaped bowl and canopy. It has been replaced with the SRS201 – see below.

(Richard W Jones). Nowadays, the MI-36 is the XGS104. MI-50, 35W, at Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire (Ian Young WWSL)
MI-8, 35W (Colin Grimes). This is the same as the Phosco P-226. MI-80, 55W, unlit (Colin Grimes) and lit (Tim Luckett)

SRS201, 90W — a newer version of the MA90 (Colin Grimes). There are slight design changes to the bowl clips, and the new design allows for the larger continental brackets. XGS104, 55W (slightly longer bowl/canopy than the XGS103 below). There is also an XGS105 which is longer again. The XGS105 used to be the MI-66. (Andrew J J Stanley) XGS103, 35W, Gresford, Wrexham. This type of lamp is commonly used nowadays as a competitor to the latest design of Thorn Beta 5.
