What can I say about myself? Well, a few things ...
Some
facts about me.
- My first love in life isn't streetlighting or anything like that. It's music!
I like almost anything from the 1960s to the present day, although my favourite
groups are the Human League and Depeche Mode (in the groups' early years).
My
favourite albums are: Human League - Travelogue (1980);
Human League - Reproduction (1979); Depeche
Mode - Speak and Spell (1981);
Depeche Mode - A Broken Frame (1982).
- I
have a strong creative side and like drawing cartoons. I have recently started
to draw these once again after a 10-year break.
- Besides
my TV appearance on BBC Wales Today, I also appeared on Channel 4's 'Countdown'
quiz show as a contestant in January 2000. I lost!
- I have to confess to being a 'wannabe' and my ambition is to have a career
in TV.
- Although
I'm only 34, I have both recorded the weather and gathered lighting-up data
since 1987. I have taken the recordings, analysed the data, and obtained the
results. I've been working for over 20 years!
- I
had a paperback novel published in 1998 - "Life Is Extremely Serious".
It was humour/science fiction. I have also written a few other books.
- I
can write with either hand. However, I'm more used to using my left. I can
use a computer mouse equally with either hand, a snooker cue in my right hand,
and kick a ball with my left foot (but never in a straight line - otherwise
I'd have become a footballer and made much more money).
- My
life was adversely affected in 1997 when I had labyrinthitis, just six weeks
after leaving home. It causes you to feel dizzy non-stop. As a result of it,
I developed many new phobias. More information

Favourite
TV programme:
Mock the Week.
Favourite
book: reference books or cartoons. I'm quite a fan of Dilbert
cartoons.
Favourite

lamb madras curry. I also like red wine and Guinness.
Philosophy:
never, never, never, never, never give up. Live
and let live. Waste not want not. And never give up.
